ABOUT YOUR COACH
I am a highly experienced trail runner, and have run in events from 5km to 100 miles. I have a running podcast Tales From The Midpack where I share learning and trail running adventures with other runners. I also help lead a social running group, and love making videos of running experiences. Coaching is another way I get to share my love of trail running with others, and give back to the sport that has brought such fulfillment to my life.

While I ran a bit as a child, my running journey truly began in old gardening sneakers and trackies, pushing a pram, when I wanted to get out of the house to help with post natal depression. Like many I began with the Couch to 5k app. But 5km became 10km became 21km became asking myself what else is possible. Then I switched to trail running and I entered a whole new world that I love. I've never looked back. Trail running fills my soul. (Just look at the view to the right #nofilter.)

There are many great reasons to have a coach (see FAQ) including having someone who understands the challenges you're facing. As a single parent who works, runs, coaches, and lives life, I understand how busy it all gets. I will alleviate the mental load of working out your running schedule, checking you are training but not over training, fitting it around your life, and driving you safely towards your goals. I look forward to supporting you across the stepping stones of your running journey.

-
Half Marathons: Clare, Barossa, McLaren Vale
-

TESTIMONIALS
"My goal for years had been to run an ultra-marathon. I met Beck in a running group when I was doing my first longer distance trail race. I had settled on a 28km, a big step for me, but Beck was sure I could do the 37km (by this time she knew my abilities well). I knew Beck had my back for anything I needed to know, and was always forthcoming with encouragement and advice. Not only did I do the 37km, I ended up signing up for the 50km. Without Beck’s encouragement and faith in my abilities, and giving me that little nudge, it would have taken me a lot longer to reach my goal."

"I have been on a few guided runs with Rebecca as she has led a group of individuals with varying abilities. Rebecca is knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging as she manages to extend those with more experience and support those with less. Her passion for trail running is evident as she guides groups through a range of different trails and pauses to check in with each group member. After a run with Rebecca, you leave feeling invigorated and have the confidence to get back out there yourself."

"Beck has a wealth of knowledge about all things running, and because of her experience in education she is able to pass on this knowledge in a simple and supportive way. Beck really respects where each individual runner is at, and her calm and consistent manner draws out the best in her runners. I've appreciated all the advice and support Beck has given me to reach my running goals."
